Marketing engineering

Your next customer might be an agent.

AI assistants now research, compare and shortlist on behalf of buyers. We bring engineering care to marketing: structured content, clean data and measurable pipelines, so you are found, understood and chosen by people and their agents alike.

Case study

From a Slack message to a published campaign, without a marketing team in the loop for every post.

The client. A consumer brand with a small team, a busy founder and three social channels to feed.

The problem

Every post meant the same loop: someone wrote a brief, someone else drafted copy, a designer made the image, the founder approved it, and then each platform got its own caption, hashtags and upload. It took a morning of several people’s time, so it happened less often than the brand needed.

What we built

We built the workflow in n8n, an open‑source automation tool the team can run and edit themselves, and taught the brand’s voice, product facts and visual rules to the AI steps so every output already sounded and looked like them.

  1. 01

    Brief in Slack

Anyone on the team posts a one‑line brief in a channel: the product, the occasion, the mood. That message is the whole input.

  2. 02

    Copy and creative

n8n picks it up and calls the AI models with the brand guide baked in. It returns platform‑specific captions and hashtags, plus generated product imagery and short video in the house style.

  3. 03

    Approve in the thread

The drafts come back into the same Slack thread. A thumbs‑up approves, a reply edits. Nothing publishes without a human clicking.

  4. 04

    Post everywhere

On approval, n8n formats each version for Instagram, Facebook and X, schedules or posts them, and logs the result back to Slack.

The outcome

A campaign post now takes a Slack message and a thumbs‑up. The team posts more often, the founder still approves everything, and the workflow lives in their own n8n instance with no subscription to us. We handed over the workflow, the prompts and a runbook, then stepped away.

What carried over

  • Put the brand guide in the prompt. Most edits disappeared once the voice and product facts were part of the generation step.
  • Keep the approval in Slack, where the team already is.
  • Own the pipeline. Open‑source automation meant the client could change a prompt or add a channel without calling us.
