How we handle your data
This site is a static brochure. It counts visits with Google Analytics, and carries no advertising and no profiling scripts.
What this site collects
The pages are static files served by our hosting provider, which keeps ordinary server logs (IP address, user agent, pages requested) for security and capacity purposes and deletes them on its normal schedule. Beyond that, the only thing collecting anything is the analytics tag described below and the booking form, if you choose to fill it in.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which pages they read. It sets two cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_1NLTJ2365D, which hold a randomly generated identifier and last up to two years. It sends Google the page you viewed, a rough location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. Google documents this in its note on data it collects from sites that use its services.
We read it to count visits, nothing more. We run no advertising tags, no remarketing and no cross-site profiling, and we do not sell or share what it records. If you would rather not be counted, block the domain googletagmanager.com in your browser or install Google’s opt-out add-on; the site works exactly the same either way.
Fonts
Type is loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which sees your IP address in that request. Google’s Fonts privacy note describes what it keeps.
Booking a call
The “Book a call” buttons open a Google Calendar booking page operated by Google. Anything you enter there is handled under Google’s terms and shared with us only as a calendar invitation. The short form on this site stores your name, work email, topic and any project details you choose to share in a database we run on Cloudflare, in order to reply to you, and sends one notification email to our own mailbox at [email protected] so we see it promptly. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled it checks the submission is not automated; Cloudflare’s privacy policy covers that check. Submissions are deleted on request.
If you write to us, we keep the correspondence for as long as the conversation is useful, and delete it on request.
Your rights and contact
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to any use of it, by emailing [email protected]. IDEALLY US is based in Hong Kong and handles personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.
